A bit about Void…
When Idris’ wife, Sophie, is shot and killed in Los Angeles one night, he tries to wish her back to life. A beautiful but frightening stranger appears before him and grants him the chance for a wish… if he completes three trials that will take him and his brother, Perseus, through space and time. Idris accepts.
Idris wakes up on an island near the Middle East; he’s been injured and is unable to help his brother lead three soldiers on a mission. In order to survive and pass this first trial, he’ll have to let go of his controlling nature and have faith in his brother’s leadership. The second trial sends him to L.A. in 1945, in the middle of a war between a masked vigilante and a ruthless and calculating kingpin. Idris realizes that the only way to stop the war is not through violence but peace; he must reach out to the humanity within the vigilante, a man whose aggressive nature reminds Idris of himself.
The third trial separates Idris from his brother. Stranded in a medieval and oppressive city ruled by a sadistic mad king, Idris finds a mysterious stone with the power to reunite him with Sophie. But the stone has a will of its own. Instead of helping Idris, it forces him to make an impossible decision: reunite with Sophie and lose Perseus forever… or save his baby brother and finally make peace with his wife’s death.
